PRINTED PLAYSUIT

Oh look who’s been shopping again, yes yes I know, i’ve utterly lost it. I even admit it myself. But god knows what Zara is doing to me this season, I can refuse nothing (i’ve even just ordered myself another fur coat & a cheeky little patent mini). Talk about delivering the goods, the only downside to this is that my salary is diminishing by the second.

So here’s how it went, I popped into the Bond St store to swap a pair of shoes I had bought online for a different size (the booties featured here), I came across a pair of gorgeous trousers as I was at the till, tried them on – loved them –  bought them (and featured them here). As I was about to leave for the second time I came across this little playsuit, the print caught my eye, as I lifted it up the cut and design excited me and after trying it on, well I was back to the till within 10 minutes. I mean it’s lethal.
This sort of garment is the sort of thing I absolutely love but never buy as I worry I won’t have an occasion to where it, but this playsuit was different for two reasons. One, it’s my work summer party today, enough of an excuse for me. Two, it’s actually a playsuit, so despite the super mini style of the garment, it’s actually shorts so there’s no risk of butt flashing. Also, even though the V neck front is a little slinky, I actually think this could look super cool with converse, a fedora & a little shoulder bag for a laid back summer festival look.
Anyway, these are the sorts of excused I plied myself with prior to purchase. It was enough for me. Although it would be fair to say i’m a bit of a floozy when it comes to shopping.
The final little addition to this look is this unbelievably beautiful Gemporia ring, I was fortune enough to get the opportunity to pick a little something from their incredible collection and I just fell in love with this white gold, opal and diamond ring. It fit’s in perfectly with my day to day jewellery and has received so many compliments from other people. Everything about this ring I love, and for £139 I think it’s well worth every single penny.

    At first I thought this was a dress. Sold. But it’s a playsuit?? SOLD. AND it has pockets?! Will someone just mail me one of these ASAP???

    Oh my what a beautiful piece. I’ve banned myself for even visiting Zara until my holiday is over. They have so many excellent pieces and always feel as though they are timeless peices. All an investment i say :o) x
