RAINY DAZE

As you read this i’ll be sat on a plane, first class in fact (unbelievably lucky I know), jetting across the globe to the middle east, for 11 nights exploring Abu Dhabi and Dubai with mon papa! I’ve packed a whole ton of clothes, my tripod & remote, all my camera kit & a lot of suntan lotion, mixed with 11 days of chilling in the sunshine will be little old me blogging from the other side of the world. I’m hoping for some glorious lighting, beautiful back drops and slightly more summery wardrobe to share with you all! Here’s hoping. But in the meantime … a final goodbye (in the short term) to the UK’s wet weather with this rain drenched outfit post!

Shooting in the rain has to be the worst set up ever, wet, awful lighting, and lack of focus due to rain blurring the view. It’s tough, but when you have no other choice, c’est la vie! This outfit was shot the other weekend whilst my sister and I were having a quick nip into Winchester. Little did we know we were driving straight into the rain. We managed to get a few pics of my wintery look regardless, fedora protecting me and a brolly juggled with camera for my sister! My look consisted of some golden oldies – my James Jeans skinnies & M&S lilac coat and some new gems – my & Other Stories bag and loafers and my Gemporia earrings which i’m just loving.

So out with the rain drenched looks, and in with the winter sun. I’ll be blogging daily from my new HQ and celebrating something rather special in tomorrows post. Stay tuned!!
