CLASSIC

November 21, 2014

. CAMEL & TARTAN .

I seem to have a little routine when I get something new into my wardrobe, i’ll go through phases of wearing an item to absolute death and then replacing it with something new. It’s an awful habit but one I probably am guilty of far too often than I should be! This camel coat from Missguided is one of my new ‘obsession’ items which I really am wearing to death. I seem to have forgotten all my other fabulous coats i’ve bought and have been wearing this little number day in day out since I got back from holiday!

. MISSGUIDED CAMEL COAT c/o . JAMES JEANS SKINNY IN SLATE . CELINE NANO .
. ASOS FEDORA . OFFICE MERCY CHELSEA BOOTS . ECHO DESIGN SCARF c/o .
I seem to have coats coming out of my ears right now, I mean no complaints my end as in my opinion in these dull, dark and cold winter months it’s actually the outerwear that makes a look. Although i’m sure Jase would have a few things to say on the matter … the coat cupboard is overflowing and i’ve already got a total of 11 new coats already THIS Autumn, let alone my years of hoarding of other coats (oh lord, that makes me feel a bit sick to admit ‘out loud’). Perhaps coat therapy is in order?
Anyway, I styled this fabulous Missguided camel duster number up last weekend with my new Echo Design tartan scarf (the most soft and cosy winter scarf, and the perfect colour combination to be teamed with my camel coat) and my new ASOS fedora which I bought in black … I now own it in every colour (oh dear, I see a recurring trend of unnecessary purchases here)!

I’m heading home this weekend and my sister has offered to help me shoot some looks for my blog and i’m so excited as I have so many new bits I’m looking forward to sharing with you! Stay tuned :)

Are you a serious hoarder / shopper / frivolous lunatic like me too?

I wouldn’t want to take that coat off either! It would smarten up so many outfits! I hoard far too many clothes but then you never know when you might want to suddenly wear something everyday again :)

I’ve had the Miss Guided Camel coat on my screen open all week because I’ve been tempted to get it. I was worried how to style it when it doesn’t have buttons so I got this one instead. http://www.wandesworld.com/2014/11/the-camel-coat.html. However I LOVE this one again, thanks to your styling. In the basket it goes!
