Outfit

COLOUR FLASH

November 14, 2014

. FLORAL JACKET & NAVY TROUSERS .

Well you’ll probably be slightly relieved to know that today is my last outfit post from my trip to Dubai / Abu Dhabi. There’ll be no more sun drenched images, waterfront locations, or summery attires, at least not for another 6 months or so when my Spring wardrobe will be back in action. I have to say, the bright days, sun filled skies & light locations have made a very welcomed change to my usual UK settings and make all the difference to the photography too. Seriously, oh how I long for bright days to shoot on every time! But there’s no denying my current looks have drastically changed, from short suits & pretty dresses to jeans, thick coats and cosy knitwear, so as of next week that’s what you’ll be seeing on le blog. But before that, one last summery outfit …

. ASOS CREPE TROUSERS . TOPSHOP WHITE SHIRT . ZARA PUMPS . CELINE NANO . ZARA FLORAL JACKET .
This look is actually quite similar and a twist to this outfit which I shared earlier in the week. My ASOS trousers were a new purchase before I went away and I have to say i’ve got an awful lot of wear out of them already, not just on holiday but back here in the UK too. I love the tailoring of the straight leg trousers juxtaposed with the loose fit and lightness of this big white shirt. It’s the perfect combination in my mind. I decided to get a little more wear out of my Zara short suit by styling the jacket with these trousers, the jacket adds such an energetic and colourful pop to the look that it really transforms the outfit. I always forget to separate my co-ords into garments in their own right, but after doing it quite a bit in Dubai with my Reiss blazer & now this Zara jacket, i’m going to make more of a concerted effort to keep doing it!
I’m so ready for this weekend now, after my first week back at work, i’ve got some fun things planned with Jase and also my lovely friends. I’m also going to try and shoot some looks on Sunday as I have SOOO many new winter bits and a few special collaborations to be showcased on the blog in the next few weeks. Super exciting :)
