. THE VARYING SHADES OF BLUE .
If there’s one item of clothing i’ve worn a little to death over here whilst i’ve been away, it’s probably my Sugarhill Boutique Sienna shorts. I’ve worn them a couple of times both in Dubai and Abi Dhabi, styled various ways. They’re so lightweight and comfortable to wear, a perfect fit (not too tight, no too short) and generally look rather chic with their lace bottom detailing.
. REISS AMAR BLAZER . SUGARHILLBOUTIQUE SIENNA SHORTS ℅ .
. PHILLIP LIM PASHLI (STORM / MEDIUM) . ZARA OPEN BACK ANKLE BOOTS .
One of my favourite outfits I styled them in was this one, a rather chic little number which I wore out for dinner at Aqua on our last night in Abu Dhabi. I wanted to dress up, but also of course main a little modesty with my shoulders covered. The shorts are black but worked perfectly with my navy camisole top (actually this item probably makes it as the most worn champion), my Zara open back ankle boots (still love these boots so much), Mr Lim the storm coloured beauty and finally my Reiss duck egg blue Amar blazer which worked like a dream draped over my shoulder. Not just ticking the fashion blogger throw over, but more importantly keeping me as cool as possible in the deserts city heat plus ticking the ‘cover up’ boxes nicely. Practical, and fashionable eh!
I shot these pictures just before we left Abu Dhabi at my favourite little spot overlooking the Mangroves. I’ve also taken a couple more pics whilst i’ve been here in Dubai (one of which is another sienna shorts number styled a little more causally) which i’ll be sharing when i’m back in the UK! Then it’ll be back to cold winter wear. sob sob sob (secretly excited)!
Have you enjoyed seeing daily outfits from my holiday versus pre planned UK looks? Which has been your favourite?
