LIGHT CATCHER

It’s Monday, but i’m officially off work & my office wear is being replaced with shopping wear. Cue leather trousers, patent booties, cosy knits & my favourite new fedora! As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t actually have a separate work & weekend wardrobe, but I do play up and down my garments to make them suitable for whatever occasion i’m dressing for! Now works out, comfort is key & i’ll be spending the next couple of days pre Christmas wrapping up in big knits & my favourite booties!

This look is somewhat of a ‘go to’ style of mine when i’m working an off duty ensemble. I love a big knit at the best of times and there’s nothing like an oversized sweater teamed with a pair of skin tight leather trousers or skinnies. These topshop leather trousers are a real favourite of mine for an alternative to leggings or jeans, they’re super comfy despite being leather & a great fit. They look best styled like this with an oversized top half & some punchy accessorising (i’m wearing my Aldo Aleweil boots & my Zelda fedora from Reiss).

I shot this look just before I left London for Christmas & managed to grab the last of the perfect Autumnal light in my new favourite little spot! I’ve really been loving the bright Autumn light & crisp cold days we’ve had this season! Now for Christmas snow right?
