. KEEPING WARM THIS WINTER .
There’s one thing for sure and that’s that the weather in the UK has certainly dropped this week, we didn’t quite get a dreamy white Christmas, but it’s certainly attempting to make up for it now with frosty mornings, chilly days and freezing nights. I actually quite like this weather, it’s the best excuse for cosy clothes & all the winter trimmings!

The trick to dressing in this nippy weather is layering, and not just with tops & jumpers, with winter accessories too. I’m a big fan of a good wooly hat, a cosy pair of thick socks & mitts to keep your fingers toasty. This fur head band was a gift from last Christmas and one I absolutely love, it’s so super cosy & works perfectly with every outfit.
I wore it last weekend before Christmas to a festive family do I was heading to! I teamed the fur hat with my Topshop throw on coat (which you can find in the sale here) and my COS A line skirt. As we were heading to a little festive party I topped up the look with my new Carvela pumps which I picked up from the London Designer Outlet on a little trip I made before I left London. I love KG shoes so it was my first stop at the outlet, and of course the most fruitful. I managed to pick up these Kestral pumps & a pair of suede loafers for £108 (over half their usual price, not bad eh)!

I have to say that my biggest struggle ever in Winter is staying warm AND making sure my outfit looks nice- I swear I was meant to live in a hot country where I can wear shorts and skirts all year, haha! I have to say- that coat looks VERY warm, and you’ve put together a lovely outfit! Great post :)
