QUALITY BASICS

It’s the day before New Years Eve and i’m going to be spending the day and finishing 2014 in the most perfect way, at the Spa. There’s nothing like a spa day or mini break to refresh you, give you that little health detox & kick start a little well needed TLC, and after a rather mammoth year this is the perfect way to unwind and prepare for the year ahead!

Aside from spa attire (aka dressing gown and slippers) my ensembles for the remainder of the year will confirm to two key criteria, cosy and warm. And this look does both. This outfit is a slight twist on my newly found uniform (have you noticed how much i’ve been coveting a knit & skinnies this winter?), and actually features a rather spectacular piece of knitwear which you may recognise from my Christmas gift post on Sunday. Yes this little knit is no understated basic, it just so happens to be a luxe piece of Rag & Bone kit which my dad chose and bought me for Christmas. Bravo right? The quality is unmistakable and i love the oversized cut. It makes the perfect look for this time of year, truly delivering on my cosy & warm brief, but adding quality & chic into the mix too!
