ICE BLUE

I debuted my Orchid jacket earlier in the week (check it out here if you missed it) but wanted to share another look featuring the beauty today, with a slightly different look & feel! I love a smart jacket, and a chic & styled ensemble, but equally who am I to deny my love for comfort & something a little less fussy! The great thing about a jacket like this is that it can easily be styled for any occasion, and this look is proof of the pud!

Whilst Jase and I were in Bristol visiting his family over the Christmas period the weather dropped seriously low & things got seriously nippy! My agenda for dressing was warmth, and so my cosy knits were put into serious use! Fortunately for me, my Orchid jacket actually worked perfectly styled with a soft cream knit & so still got some wear! I wore this outfit before New Year, Jase and I popped to one of my favourite little spots for a bite to eat and some well needed coffee and shot these on route. I teamed my River Island roll neck knit with my Orchid jacket, leather trousers & kestral heels (I seem to be getting a lot of wear out of these, they go with everything)! The outfit was the perfect mix of cosy comfort, yet still looked chic & suitable for a little lunch trip (with minimal walking required thankfully)!

When I buy an item, no matter how expensive or smart, I always like to ensure I get good wear out of it, whether that be styling it for work, weekend or evenings out. I don’t like buying items purely for occasions, and so tweaking the styling is my number one game!
