LEATHER ON LEATHER

Today is round two of debuting my new favourite jackets, undeliberately another Reiss number, and another item i’d been longing for all season. Fortunately enough this was the surprise waiting underneath the Christmas tree for me this year, Jase has always been a very good present buyer (lucky girl I know). I’d been wanting a leather jacket for quite a while (surprisingly it’s the only variety of outerwear which I don’t have 25 versions of), and after browsing a few stores it was this Reiss Sheena leather jacket which stole my heart. The soft leather, the non standard colour & the perfect fit were the winning combination for me!

I’ve actually been wearing the jacket a number of ways for various occasions (that’s the beauty of the leather jacket right, it can be styled for any occasion) but one of my most worn ensembles has to be this styled down look. A big cosy oversized sweater (my 2014 winter go to I would say), a pair of leather trousers (I seem to have rediscovered my collection this season, more justification as to why clothes hoarding has it’s benefit) and of course a pair of chic suede pumps! It’s the perfect ‘comfy’ outfit but still looks like you’re ready for whatever the day might through at you, impromptu dinner and drinks ahoy!
