DRESSING FOR A PITCH

Yesterday I shared another career tips post, the topic of which was how to prepare for a big meeting. The post was pertinent as yesterday I myself had a very big meeting (a pitch in fact) to which I spent a lot of energy preparing for. Today I thought I’d take it one step further, with a bit of a ‘what to wear to a big meeting’ outfit post, and share my look from yesterday’s pitch.

My look was relatively simple but tailored and a little androgynous to boot. I teamed my Cos trousers with a simple black fitted top, a chic but slightly oversized blazer and a pair of heels to finish things off. When dressing for big meetings I always keep my style simple, and often go for a more masculine look with a white shirt and cigarette trousers or a simple A line skirt.  Power dressing for a meeting is all about dressing in what makes you feel confident, and a trouser look like this always gives me a boost of confidence.
