SUNSHINE YELLOW TROUSERS

March 2, 2015

YELLOW TROUSERS

. YELLOW SUNSHINE TROUSERS .

There’s quite detailed research into colour psychology, about how the colours you see or wear can affect your mood, positivity and emotion. Whilst I do have an A level in psychology to my name, that’s as far as my credibility speaking on the topic stretches, however I think we could probably all agree that adding a little colour to your outfits does go someway in perking up your day a little, right?

These sunrise yellow (maybe more mustard) trousers are one such item that always seem to make me feel a little happier. Whether it’s their laid back, oversized carefree design or the fact that they are entirely bright yellow – or the combination of the two. But whenever I pop these trousers on, I feel good.

. ASOS YELLOW TROUSERS . ZARA MARL  SHIRT . CONVERSE c/o JD SPORTS . MISSGUIDED CAMEL COAT . PAULS BOUTIQUE DUFFLE c/o .

I’ve been wearing these trousers a fair bit lately actually, usually with a big jumper but this weekend I went slightly more androgynous with a boxy white shirt (my Zara speckled marl shirt) and my new leather converse, which are the perfect mix of effortless converse style, yet sturdy chic, and the whitest of white leather giving them a slightly smarter feel. The bright sunshine yellow colouring with the crisp white will be the perfect palette for spring … The three hours of sunshine this weekend clearly got me prematurely excited for new the season.

Do you find wearing colour perks up your mood? What colours do you tend to wear?

I so love this outfit and the color match! Very springish :) I usually don’t really like yellow colors, but in this outfit it looks fantastic.
