This week is turning into a super busy one, good, but busy! What comes with busy work days, blog socialising and events & also post work activities is a super tired me, and when i’m tired my style reverts massively to comfort and simplicity. The less fuss the better, comfort is an absolute necessity, and the closer the ensemble to my pyjamas the better. You know the drill. Todays outfit is one of those …

The trick with pulling off the ultimate simple look, is to ensure that each item you’re wearing looks quality & presentable in it’s own right. A denim jeans and knit jumper combo could look utterly awful, or effortlessly chic, it all depends on the individual items you pick up. I personally love Zara for affordable high street basics, and this ripped denim and oversized cream knit combo is super simple but still looks chic.

My other trick for making a simple denim & knit combo look a little more chic is to simply add some fabulous accessories … in my case Lady Celine and my new favourite lace up gladiator sandals. The two items sort of transform the look and make it look a little more dressy … but with absolutely minimal effort & fuss! Et Voila.

The perfect outfit to throw on when you really do need that extra 30 minutes in bed.
