Whilst I absolutely love getting dressed up, buying myself new & ‘on trend’ fashion garments, I do also (every now and then) just like taking things back to basics. Black skinny jeans, a classic shirt &  simple accessorising. When it comes to everyday work wear, this look summarises my go to style pretty well.

This next 10 days are going to be pretty crazy for me, with big projects coming to a head at work the pressure is on, late nights will roll into early mornings & days will pass by too fast as we near the big meeting itself! When work gets like this, comfort & simple clothing is all I need. There’s too much going on to overthink my work wear style and when you’re working 16 hour days the last thing you want is to be wearing something fussy & uncomfortable. So Whilst my blog will be full of my new exciting purchases & outfits over the next week or so, the reality will be straight back to basics!  The only thing to make this even more sad is the fact that NYFW is kicking off over the pond … oh where i’d rather be :)
