. THE LAST OF SUMMER STYLE : A FINAL HOORAH .

So here it is, the final summer look until 2016 (unless a surprise trip comes my way between now and then … offers welcome). My favourite thing about holiday and summer dressing is how basic it can be … whilst I love winter layering and pulling a look together, in summer it’s simply a case of throwing something on. And that’s quite literally it. This white knit dress was something I picked up from Zara really early on in the season, but never really got the chance to wear that much (it’s quite a funny cut and shape if I’m honest), but for my final day in Turkey, when the sun was beginning to retreat, it was the perfect, warm throw on to pop on top of my bikini.

But for now I’m packing my summer clobber away, and swapping knit dresses for cosy knit jumpers, bare legs for thick tights and bare feet for suede ankle boots. I’m sad to see summer pass, but equally ready for a little festivities and winter dressing.
