TWEED

. TWEEDLE DEE AND TWEEDLE DUM .

You may remember from this outfit post, that I recently bought myself a little tweed co-ord from Zara, it was a rather impromptu purchase but in my opinion often the best buys are! I’ve worn the tweed coat from the two piece loads since I bought it, it’s become my go to outerwear of choice & looks great with a pair of skinny jeans & a knit jumper! But today I thought I’d give the a line skirt a little bit of showtime …

As with the 70’s trend more generally, the skirt of the season is mini, a line & high waisted. Pretty much all my favourite sartorial settings in one … although maybe skirts could be a little less mini (please!)! Anyway, the skirt is a dream with the co-ord but equally looks great on it’s own too, I teamed it this weekend with a simple ribbed jumper & my Dune knee high boots. I added a little colour pop to my backpack too, borrowing my sisters burgundy pom pom!
