As party season approaches, and with that the endless party invites starting to arrive (okay perhaps not endless, but frequent to say the least), I find it hard to focus on anything other than Christmas Day itself, gifts and presents, and of course my festive wardrobe.

Whether it’s outfits for Christmas dinners and do’s, or a little something special for the day itself. Naturally the high street is full of glamorous dresses and beautiful garments, but more often than not throughout November and December I’ll be heading out after work, and so as always with my styling, it must be transitional.

For me, a really simply yet chic festive styling is to simply upgrade your look with something a little more glamorous … For example I live in my Suede skirt, and by teaming it with a little lace blouse and a pair of killer boots, my outfit can shift from day to night without any fuss at all.

A sheer or lace top blouse is a perfect way to upgrade your look (this ones a delicate French Connection number), but in order to pull the look off you need to ensure you have the ultimate strapless bra, not only to support you, but also to show the top (or dress) off to its fullest potential (no bra straps please).
