. WALKING BROOKLYN BRIDGE & EXPLORING WILLIAMSBURG .
One of my favourite days in New York was the day we left Manhattan and walked the Brooklyn Bridge to go and explore the other side of the pond. Despite having been to NYC a number of times before, I’d never actually made it to Brooklyn, so this time it was our number one priority to make it over the bridge, but most importantly make it to Williamsburg, the infamous Williamsburg. And I have to say, the experience lived up (if not exceeded) my high expectations. We spent the entire day in Williamsburg, shopping in the best vintage stores, brunching in a locals favourite, pretending to be locals taking a coffee in Toby’s Coffee Estate, and sipping delicious cocktails in a gem speak easy bar called Maison Premierre… and not least enjoying a delicious dinner in Hotel Delmano! Well worth the trip across the bridge.
. J CREW KNIT JUMPER (SIMILAR) . TOPSHOP SUEDE SKIRT (SIMILAR) . KURT GEIGER BOOTS . RAYBAN CLUBMASTERS . ZARA BACKPACK (SIMILAR) .
We were so lucky with the weather, pure sunshine all day, and so I took the opportunity to ditch the coat and sport my new J Crew knit jumper which I picked up on day 1. I have to say J Crew was my favourite NYC store this time around & I bought myself a few little treats from there in the end. I teamed the knit with my suede skirt & KG Boots (which I lived in all weekend), and finished things off with a little tartan!

Great pictures! I went to NYC last year and also crossed the Brooklyn Bridge on foot but with a little (not to say a lot) more rain, wind and even fog! Which made the view and experience not so great as yours. Either way I loved crossing it and exploring a little bit of Brooklyn. No as much as I wanted because of bad weather but still. It is definitely a place I want to return. :)
