. NYC STYLE DIARY: PART II CENTRAL PARK & COSY FUR .

Another look from my trip to New York last weekend, a little something cosy which I wore for a late afternoon stroll in Central Park. We got to the Guggenheim about 4pm and strolled for the next couple of hours through the autumnal park, and saw the most magical sunset set over the high rise buildings in the sky line. It truly was quite special, the most pink sunset I think I’ve ever seen.

My attire was cosy & warm, the perfect combination for a Winter afternoon in Central Park. I picked up this fur scarf at the airport from Zara, it’s so soft & cosy it’s a perfect wrap around for Winter, and actually is so warming it saved me wearing a coat on this particular day! I styled my new faux fur with my Rag & Bone knit and my new Madewell jeans, another new purchase and this time a little NYC number. I’d not come across the Madewell brand before but have to say I absolutely loved it, these jeans were a rather spontaneous purchase, but I always think when a pair of jeans fit, you have to buy them (just me?).

We strolled the park until the sun finally fell away, at which point we thought a drop of late night shopping was the perfect end to the day. Bloomingdales here we come!
