THE REVIVAL OF PATCHWORK
Once apon a time, patchwork was considered a rather old, outdated and traditional textiles methodology, usually saved for the classic ‘hand me down’ patchwork quilt. The ultimate in duvet throughs. But who’d have thought it, 2016 see’s a revival of the patchwork skirt, in non other than my favorourite material (suede) in my favourite (one of) garment, the a-line mini.

This little number was a Christmas present from my momma & papa, and it was something that had been on my wish list for some time. I love the suede cut, i love the patchwork styling and the colour combination is pretty on point too. Come summer, I also think it’ll make a fab laid back attire, teamed with a simple cami & some lace up heels. I’ll be getting my beach body prepared for this over the next few months. But for now, thick tights, a cosy knit jumper & a simple pair of loafers. Perfection.
