REINVENTING THE WHEEL. SEARCHING FOR SOMETHING.
I’m preparing myself for Storm Jonas to reach the UK, so before my style becomes resigned to Ugg boots and my teddy coat (no complaints here mind) I thought I’d make the most of my A-typical winter style & new winter favourites.
I have a habit of getting a new garment and quite literally living in it non stop, this roll neck knitted jumper is one of those (sorry if you’re board of seeing it already). It’s unbelievably versatile style wise, but more than that it’s just so bloomin’ cosy which is just what winter requires. Juxtaposing the cosy warmness of my knitted jumper, is my new R&B loafers which despite being far less warm, have been firmly placed on my feet since I unwrapped them this Christmas. This outfit has become a staple. Why try reinventing the wheel?
Whilst my outfits might be becoming formulaic and a little repetitive (don’t worry, it’s not forever), my inspiration and ideas for this little blog are far from it. My three weeks off over Christmas have left me feeling revitalised, re-energised and even more motivated than normal to push my blog to the next level, to up my content game, improve my photography (quality, creativity and style) and to create editorials that really do add value to you and to me.
Since my NYC trip back in December I’ve been really focussed on creating informative or inspiring content that not only do I love writing about and feel passionately about, but that hopefully you guys find helpful, informative or simply just inspiring. I’ve re-designed my blog (I hope you love it), finally created a logo that I feel reflects my brand and generally have been brainstorming and planning content which feels fresh and new.
I’d love to know what you think about my newly defined direction, my new look blog and the sorts of content and editorials you’ve been seeing on mediamarmalade for the last month or so. What do you I’ve reading, what do you want to see more of?
