Curating a new seasonal wardrobe & navigating the new seasons trends
This season marks the return of bohemian vibes and 70’s inspired colour palettes, the high streets interpretation of the SS16 trends is the perfect middle ground for those wanting to embrace subtle tones without a) the catwalk price tag and b) looking like your off to coachella every day (oh how we wish). I for one have been trying to navigate my way around this seasons new trends, whilst staying true to my own style, shape and favoured colours … i’ve got it wrong a lot, but i’ve started to find the pieces that really work in my wardrobe and in my life.
One of the trends i’ve been trying out is of course the bardot sleeve cut … a big trend this season, and one that I’ve discovered it easily embraced,. For a subtle interpretation of the bardot trend you should try a chic off the shoulder shirt teamed with a cut off open hem denim jean. But for a slightly more over styling opt for an off the shoulder summer dress (like i’m wearing in today’s outfit), the look is simple, versatile and most often flattering too.

I wore this bardot Zara dress a couple of weekends ago whilst I was having a day out in South East London with my girl friends, the sun was out so we took the chance to explore a little more of London Bridge & Shoredict. An area that I work so close to, yet rarely explore or enjoy as much as i’d like. It was the perfect chance to take my bardot summer dress for a spin …
