The Ultimate Winter Boot; Stuart Weitzman Highland Boots
You know there are some things you long for, for weeks, months, even years. The Chanel hand bags of the world, that new car, a special occasion dress (Self Portrait Azaelea, you know who you are), you get the gist. Well the Stuart Weitzman Highland boots were one such item that I have longed to own for far too long. Aside from my Chanel Boy & Beetle convertible, this boot has to be one of my longest waits yet. The price tag of course being the barrier (spending that much on a bag, fine, but £700 on shoes, lord help me).
I did that typical thing of buying ‘not quite the same’ alternatives for a few years, but finally decided to give in and make the investment this season.
They are the only knee high boot I’ve ever tried that doesn’t sag, fits well and really does create a perfect silhouette. They are an investment. But as with most investments, they’re worth the wait. So it is with genuine pride and smugness that I finally introduce my very own highland boots here on mediamarmalade.com …
SHOP MY LOOK
I’ve had plenty of time to plan how i’d style my highland boots and truth be told the beauty of the boot is that they really do go with everything, but the look I was most excited to sport was a transitional look for Autumnal, a classic style within my wardrobe and an ensemble i’ve sported for many years now. A classic suede mini skirt with a quality knitted jumper, this time swapping my usual ankle boots, with my new Stuart Weitzman boots. This sort of look is an absolute style staple for me in the Winter months and I love my new season additions – this cashmere jumper is a new buy from ASOS and so super cosy I know i’ll be living in it.
