MASTERING DAY TO NIGHT VALENTINES STYLE

February 14, 2017

DAY TO NIGHT VALENTINES STYLE

Happy Valentine’s Day my loves. Whether you love or hate this time of year there’s no excuse not to give yourself a little loving and pop on an outfit that makes you feel special.

I for one am embracing the day to pop on a slightly more ‘effort-ful’ look today, and importantly one that can see my from a day in the office to an evening with Jase after work.

For me, my style and wardrobe has to deliver on the transition from work to socialising seamlessly, when i invest in items for my wardrobe, in large they have to tick both boxes and ideally have the ability to be styled up and down dependent on the occasion.

SHOP MY VALENTINES STYLE EDIT

Today’s look delivers exactly that. A Zara pleated midi skirt which looks charming both styled up with heels & a fitted blouse or top like in today’s look (Zara for reference), or effortlessly cool with converse and a sweater for an everyday look. For me it’s feminine, comfortable and just perfectly on the boarder or smart / casual which is where my personal style usually sits. It’s chic for work, pretty for date night.

Now all I need is Jase, a bottle of fizz & perhaps a few roses and Valentine’s is sorted! How will you be spending yours? And what will you be sporting for the occasion?

I absolutely love this post. I have a skirt very similar to this and It was only the other day I was getting ready for work and I decided to wear it, but I wasn’t sure how to style it (I can only wear black and white) the jumper I was wearing with it didn’t look right so I ended up having to change into a different skirt. Definitely will try this with a more fitted top.
