BORROWING YOUR SISTERS CLOTHES

BORROWING YOUR SISTERS CLOTHES

The Benefits Of Being 1 of 3 Girls

One of the great things about having sisters, aside from having two best friends for life, is that you have access to two more wardrobes beyond your own. Sisters squabbling over who’s taken who’s shoes, or who’s wearing who’s dress is a common scene for any siblings, but fortunately for us we’ve never been on the bad side of clothes borrowing. My sisters and I have 5 years between us, which thankfully helped avoid such scenarios and instead has meant we’re forever handing old clothes down to each other (mostly me, as the eldest) but equally borrowing each others pieces when we’re together and when one of us buys something the other loves. What’s even better is that we all LOVE clothes and so between us we’ve got a lot to play with (and not a lot of wardrobe space).

WHAT I AM WEARING

. ACNE JEANS (MINE) . ACNE JUMPER (LILY’S) . MANGO TEDDY COAT (HARRIETT’S) . VEJA TRAINERS (MINE) .

My sister Harriett and I have the closest taste in fashion, both loving our knitwear, brands like And Other Stories and a good teddy coat (albeit I have a slightly more scandi twist on my styling with big blazers & designer accessorising), my youngest sister Lily is far more ‘street cool’ than us (hence her 60k+ instagram tribe of street style obsessives) but that doesn’t mean we don’t cross brands every now and then, Gucci and Acne are two brands in particular that transcends our tastes right now.

Whilst Lily would love to get her hands on my Gucci bag and purse, it was her Acne sweater I had my eye on this weekend whilst home for the weekend. The classic acne pink went perfectly with my new Veja trainers, and I finished off my outfit with Harriett’s pink Mango teddy coat (old) which was pretty much made for the look.

Sometimes I wish I had a sister so we could share clothes too! Luckily, my Mum and I are the same size so… same same? Haha! ❤️❤️

I love this Acne jumper! I have four sisters, so borrowing each others clothes has always led to many arguments, but it’s definitely better now as we’ve gotten older! Gorgeous photos x
