An Odd Combination

Well is it Summer or Winter, who knows? So, keeping apt with the confusing British weather, I’ve gone a little mental and totally mixed up my winter and summer wardrobe. Rock N Roll eh. This playsuit was a little bargain I picked up from H&M last year and lived in on the beach. For this look, I’ve teamed it with tights and a blazer to give it a more dressy, winter look. I’ve also piled up my gold jewellery and added my new Boohoo killer heels to give it a little edge.

It’s always fun digging out something old from your wardrobe and mixing it with something new to create a totally new look. I have so many clothes it actually makes me anxious (no joke) … I find it hard to store them all and forget half the things I own. I have shoes and bags coming out my ears, but always end up wearing the same things over and over. When I shot this outfit post, I was having one of ‘those days’ when no matter how many clothes you own, you don’t have anything to wear. Grr, I know you know what I mean :) Well anyway, in a moment of desperation I pulled this old thing out my wardrobe, grabbed a blazer and pinged my hair in a bun, and who knew, it actually kind of works. 
I must say, once I get my own pad, I am most definitely going to need a MEGA wardrobe, and I shall be hint hint, nudge nudge – ing Jase to go Mr Big on me and make me a walk in wardrobe (he is an architect after all). It’s no laughing matter … I bloomin’ need one. I do shop quite a lot admittedly, but genuinely I love love love clothes, fashion and style, It makes me super excited and happy and I love wearing things I really like & have found. It’s my little guilty pleasure (along side holby city and pick n mix) and I don’t think it’ll ever change, I’ve always been this way, my mum used to call me the bag lady as a toddler as i’d just carry around as many bags as possible. So there’s no choice about it, I need a walk in wardrobe. haha.

    I think this look does work really well! I know what you mean, it can be so daunting looking at all your clothes and trying to make something new out of them, I try and force myself a couple times a year to sit and properly look through and make up new outfits! xx
