. LAURA ASHLEY SS15 PASTEL BLUE COAT .
So rather ironically i’ve started to get into the spring mindset in a big way, ironic of course because today in London it’s been snowing! Maybe I got a little ahead of myself? But it’s hard not to get excited for Spring when pastel blues and cropped cuts are starting to infiltrate my favourite stores new collections! I absolutely love winter and the garments and style of dressing that come with the season, but equally i’m always excited for a new season to hit once we’ve had a few months of styling the same kinda looks, and spring is always a real favourite of mine.
. LAURA ASHLEY DOUBLE BREASTED WOOL COAT . TOPSHOP PEG LEG TROUSERS (SIMILAR HERE / HERE) . ZARA PUMPS (SIMILAR) .
. ZARA KNIT VEST . REISS TRILBY HAT .
This look is the first of my real spring transitional posts, and features a whole load of pastel blue which is always a sign of things to come (spring pastels are always a winner in my mind). The pastel blue jacket is a gorgeous piece from Laura Ashley’s new collection, having checked out their SS15 lookbook i’ve already fallen in love with a few of their spring trends, but mostly their collection of spring blue garments, and in particular this transitional textured coat. It’s not only a gorgeous colour but it’s super soft and cosy too!
I styled the coat this weekend whilst I was in bath staying with my sister, in fact it went perfectly with her Topshop peg leg pastel blue trousers which I absolutely love! My sisters and I are always borrowing eachothers clothes and these trousers which my sister picked up in January have been a garment i’ve had my eye on since! I wanted to style the trousers with a simple, but quite cool top, and this cream knitted vest from Zara (another new item of my sisters) was absolutely perfect. In fact, i really want it for myself now too!
Are you ready for spring dressing? What trends are catching your eye already?

It’s so strange seeing some of my favourite bloggers all curled up in their winter warmers; over here in Australia everyone is sweltering! Also, adore your Opal (?) ring.
