. TOPSHOP SUEDE BUTTON SKIRT .
Spring is just teasing us now, this weekend I was ready and raring for sunshine & blue skies, but no, rain & grey skies greeted us as we popped into Winchester for a little coffee & paint shopping, plus of course the weekly outfit shoot. Usually when it rains my pictures turn out awful, the grey skies, dull light & rain draining my photos for all their life, but this weekend we actually managed to pull it out the bag despite the weather I think. My sister and I shot these pictures in between a downpour, and despite the weather & lighting I actually love the pics and the contrast in black & white.
. BRANDY MELVILLE GREY KNIT . TOPSHOP BLACK SUEDE BUTTON SKIRT . ZARA HEELED BOOTS . ASPINAL BUCKLE BAG .
Despite the fact this topshop skirt is insanely short, I still keep wearing it. I absolutely love the suede material, I love the A Line cut & I love the button down front. I do wish it was two inches longer, but hey ho, it seems i’ll just have to get my legs in shape instead (I always have the same issue with Topshop skirts being super short). Whilst the skirt would look amazing dressed up, sometimes there’s nothing like just throwing on a cosy oversized knit jumper & keeping things a little more simple. And so that’s what I did!
I think i’ll pack this look in my suitcase for next week, when I’m off skiing, swapping the heeled boots for my knee high suede boots (a bit like this look here), it’s a great evening look for when we’re up in the mountains, and i’ll finally get the chance to wear my huge Paisie teddy coat again!
Are you a fan of the suede trend this season? How are you embracing it in your looks?

Hi!
I’ve just stumbled across your blog and love it. It’s so chic and minimal!
Also equally obsessed as you with suede at the moment! I will have to see what else Top Shop has to offer!

I’ve never really been a fan of suede, don’t know if it’s the feel of it or what but I’ve not had the urge to buy anything suede this season yet . . . saying that when something’s ‘in fashion’ I always seem to subconsciously warm to it so we’ll see!
Love how you’ve styled the skirt though with the bag, hat and oversized knit X

This outfit is out of my dreams!!!! It all works so well!!!
I’m suede’s number 1 fan, cannot get enough of it!!:) I have just styled that Asos A-line burgundy suede skirt on my blog, you have worn it multiple times in yellow! Love it to bits! :)
Have tried this Topshop one as well, but it just didn’t wok for my shape! Think it’s a lot looser than the Asos one, it doesn’t tuck everything in! :)
Anyway, fab styling! :)

Love this look, I especially love your shoes! I don’t think I’ll be embracing the suede trend in a big way. Maybe in the form of a cool bag or maybe one jacket.
