. MY CHRISTMAS GIFTS .
I’ve been quite enjoying posting slightly more lifestyle focussed posts on my blog over the festive season, it’s not something I often have the time to be able to shoot what with juggling a full time job and my blog, but with two weeks off work & day light hours at my mercy, i’ve been able to document some of my Christmas celebrations. I thought what better way to complete the mini Christmas series than by sharing all my Christmas gifts with you too!
If anything I actually like to take pics of all my gifts to remember all the fantastic, wonderful presents my family and loved ones have chosen for me, but I also thought you might enjoy a little nosy too? I for one love seeing what others received, it’s great for inspiration but also nice to see all the treats people were fortunate enough to receive.
I know Christmas isn’t all about gifts (far from it), but actually giving my loved ones well thought out, specially picked treats is one of my favourite things about the festive period! I really love thinking up gift ideas and creating a present that will really surprise my family & Jase. This year I created some gifts I really loved, and my family did just as well with their well thought out, wonderful presents for me too!
I won’t go through all my presents in detail, but you can see from the snaps above that I got some incredibly lovely gifts from clothing items I am madly in love with (Jase bought me the Reiss leather jacket i’ve loved forever, my Dad bought me this beautiful cream Rag & Bone knit jumper & my Mum & Papa hunted down the Zara playsuit i’ve had my eye on for months, and of course solved my NYE outfit dilemmas). I received a whole array of beautiful home pieces which are just exactly what I love, Santa filled my sack with tons of Jamie Oliver china wear & cute home treats & my sister Harriett bought me some beautiful home decor pieces like the fab ‘&’ gold letter from Oliver Bonas, a Jamie Oliver artisan wooden board and my Anthropologie ‘M’ mug. I also got some gorgeous candles which I was over the moon about, Lily got me the Anthropolgie fig & vanilla candle i’ve been wanting for ages, my mum found 3 beautiful Christmas scented pink candles which will sit perfectly on my desk & my nan got me a little Cath Kidston one too.
The fab thing is Jase and I actually got a couple of matching letter home decor bits, like the cushions (from his Mum), the mug (Harriett bought us one each) & the gold letters which I ironically also bought for Jase (as well as a surprise city break to Bruges) so our house is going to look very cute & art deco now!
And of course it wouldn’t be Christmas without too many sweet treats (I got a seriously naughty amount), some cute Christmas decorations (I had some lovely ones this year) & the best hard back books you could dream of (swoon). Liza bought me the Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall cookbook collection which I can’t wait to use (i’ve heard so many great things about his new books), my sister Harriett also bought me the ‘Eat Pretty book’ which i’ve been wanting to read & my Nan managed to get me ‘Berlin Street Style’ (another book i’ve wanted to add to my collection for ages)! I also had a lovely J’adore Dior perfume set from Jase’s family (they also got me the cute M cushion & my favourite Raffaello chocs), a whole collection of my favourite OPI polishes from my Nana, & some other fab little bits like my pink fur hand bag accessory & Cowshed set from my Dad and a Soap & Glory eyeliner from Lily (which is meant to be brilliant).
One seriously lovely surprise and an absolutely ideal gift for Jase & I was two annual season passes to Kew Gardens which my Ma et Pa bought us. I love Kew Gardens and given it’s right on our doorstep we really should spend more time enjoying the beautiful grounds on the weekend. It was a fab little surprise & a gift I can’t wait to get using!
I’ve been utterly spoilt rotten this year and love all the presents my family have treated me too! I can’t wait to get wearing my new luxury clothes (and share them with you all on here), fill my HQ with my fab new books & candles and of course decorate my kitchen with all my brilliant new utensils!
I’d love to hear what treats you received this year and how your Christmas was? OH, and don’t forget there’s still some Christmas gifts for you up for grabs in my two festive giveaways, the £500+ beauty giveaway & The Urbancode Fur Coat Giveaway, pop over and enter now!

I love these kinds of posts. It is nice to see what other people got!
One of my favourite things about the holidays is picking out presents too – I don’t know why people get stressed over it, I love the challenge and don’t mind spending hours to find The Perfect gift!
