JUMP FOR MY LOVE

Often when I think of jumpsuits or all in ones I instantly think of a) snuggling up at home (the onesie), or b) getting my glad rags on for a raucous night out, but actually not long ago I decided perhaps the best occasion for the jumpsuit is ‘everyday’. Styling down the garment for a casual day look, flat loafers, cheeky fedora, and a simple jumpsuit!

As I don’t go ‘out out’ all that often, don’t get me wrong i go OUT a lot, but often this will follow a day at work where the only ‘dressing up’ i’ll do is a lashing of lipstick and maybe if i’m fortunate enough to have a spare pair of heels in the office, swap my shoes over to something a little more ‘darling’!! Anyway, as I don’t go ‘out out’ (e.g. pre planned, saturday night clubbing – did enough of that when i was a young sprite) it’s not often i’ll get dolled up in party clothes or get a lot of wear out of party clothes, so rather than hide this splendid little navy all in one piece at the back of my wardrobe, I thought i’d simply re-purpose it for a different style occasion! And actually, the patent loafers & navy Reiss fedora work perfectly to create a dressed down little ensemble!
