. WAREHOUSE TWEED COAT .
I don’t differentiate my work and weekend wardrobe, I just wear whatever I feel like on whatever day that happens to be. I have a relatively ‘smart’ dress sense anyway which is easy to translate for work, but also style down for a more laid back weekend look. I like to pick garments that I really love & then style them for whichever occasion occurs. These tartan trousers are a prime example.
I ordered these trousers from Zara a few weeks back and have got some pretty good wear out of them already. I have featured them on my blog once already here in an outfit I wore for a potter around Richmond. Despite it being a weekend outfit, the camisole makes it a little smarter than I’d normally opt for.
Yesterday however I spent the day at my clients office in and out of meetings, it was seriously cold and also a bit drizzly so I wanted to wear something warm and cosy, but also something that would look smart. I styled the trousers with my oversized Monki cream knitted jumper and my Warehouse fur trimmed coat. I love how you can change the look of a garment simply by swapping with accompanying clothes.

For a little while now I’ve been super frustrated with my blog pictures, for reasons previously unbeknown to me my photos were consistently blurring out slightly, with probably only 1-10 having the crisp look they should / normally did have. I have a pretty good lens that I use (the F1.4) which I upgraded from my F1.8 this year (it broke – sob) and so it’s been gutting seeing pictures that look fine in the lens & camera preview be really disappointing when you get them on the old computer. Anyway – having read a few reviews online I decided to start shooting in RAW, it turns out my camera had been shooting in quite a low quality format, and I can’t tell you the difference I’ve noticed since doing it. I took these outfit pictures yesterday after a day at my clients office and was so relieved to finally be rid of the blurred out non crisp images I feel like i’ve been getting for the last month or so. Here’s to finally having good blog pictures again …
What do you think of today’s tartan themed outfit? What’s your typical workwear look?

I am a massive fan of tartan at the moment I practically lived in my tartan Zara scarf last winter and plan to do the same again while adding a few more tartan pieces to my wardrobe.
