. A DIARY ENTRY .
It’s a funny old thing, despite the fact I have a blog, it’s actually very infrequently that I use it just to write a simple diary entry. In fact, it’s almost never. But this weekend i’ve been so busy that i’ve barely had any time to sit and write, so rather than share a new beauty product or showcase a new look, i thought i’d simply give you a little run down of my busy bee weekend.
I’ve had a super busy week at work, so as of Friday 3pm I was all about fun, chilling out & unwinding. It kicked off with an incredible lunch at Sushi Samba which was full of over indulgence, not only in the seriously amazing food (it’s replaced Roka as my favourite Japanese haunt) but their tasty cocktails too. By 630pm we were being kicked out ready for dinner reservations and with a very full tummy & a slightly hazy head I went to meet Jase ahead of a special little date night i’d planned. Dinner & a movie at the Electric Diner / Cinema in Nottinghill. It’s my favourite place to catch a movie, so luxurious and a fab experience. I booked us tickets to see Mocking Jay which is well worth a watch if you’re into the Hungergames. We topped up on pic n mix, a carafe of rioja & a naughty little cheeseburger and settled into our armchairs!
Saturday was spent shooting pics for my blog this week, the weather and lighting was pure perfection so i’m really excited to show you all my new looks this week. Not only was the weather on point, I also found a new magical spot to shoot my looks right by my house. I can’t believe i’d not seen this little corner of the village before, but it’s most definitely become my new favourite spot. You can see a little sneak peak of it in the picture above. Jase and I then spent the afternoon in Richmond, browsing the shops, buying ourselves treats (oops, I bought a Reiss fedora) enjoying a little Christmas coffee before heading to my dads to put up the Christmas tree, enjoy a little fizz & get ready for a special little birthday dinner. I’d booked us a table at The Glasshouse which is a michelin start restaurant in our village, the food and experience was fabulous as ever and we had such a fun night!
Today has been what it says on the tin, a super lazy sunday. Jase and I have done a spot of spring cleaning as our little abode was looking a tad messy, cooked up a beast of a chicken salad for lunch (I must share the recipe soon) and have spent this afternoon putting up our Christmas tree. We’re feeling super festive and the flat looks so cosy and warming now it’s full of fairy lights and festive decorations! We’re finishing the weekend with a little supper at our friends house, I can’t wait …
I hope you’ve enjoyed this slightly different blog post from me today! Sorry it’s not my ‘usual’ post, but stay tuned this week for lots of new autumnal outfits!
