. APRIL HAUL .
I’m back from holiday and looking forward to an uber chilled out weekend with Jase now. The trip was absolutely amazing, but I returned a broken woman after lots of partying and celebrations. Todays post is just a little post featuring some more of my new bits and bobs that I’ve added to my wardrobe over the last few weeks, and also a sneak peak at the goody bag from the AX Paris event which I thought may be cool to share.
These are my absolutely amazing, beautiful, perfect tan wedged heels from Daniel Footwear (Unforgettable Sandals £155) :) If I could marry my shoes, I’d marry these beauts. I was lucky enough to receive these for my birthday and have managed to wear them tons since they arrived on my doorstep. I can’t wait to share my outfits with them.
I picked up this Bikini in Primark before I went away to Nice for an absolutely bargain £8, seriously not worth saying no to. I loved the print and thought I’d treat myself to this for my Nice trip. It’s perfect for summer and such gorgeous colours.
When I received my printed Uniqlo Celia Birtwell trousers, I also chose a matching scarf from the collection too. Not to wear together of course, but I loved the print and thought this scarf would look lovely styled with a simple cream top and jeans. I forgot to mention in my last post (when I featured the trousers) that Celia has not only collaborated with Uniqlo but is also publishing a book called Celia Birtwell (by Celia Birtwell & Dominic Lutyens, published by Quadrille), the book is RRP £30 for a hardback, but would make a great coffee table book :)
The phone case is also a new little treat from Caseapp, featuring my toes in the Egyptian sunlight to help remind me of sunny, relaxing times. It’s a custom designed case which I made myself, It took me super ages to try and find a picture but in the end opted for this one as it’s quite simple and will remind me of holidays and my trip to Egypt this year. What do you think of it?
So all the above piccies are sneak peaks at the AX paris goody bag I received when I attended their event a few weeks ago. I thought I’d share some pics as the bag had a real good selection of itmes in it, and I loved how eclectic the goody bag was. I got a super cool and edgy laptop case which I’m now using for my work laptop, lots of tasty treats and also some essentials which always come in handy – batiste, cleansing lotion (which I can’t wait to try), Nail polish, and I’m sure a big hit with everyone, the Ryan Gosling colouring book :)
The grand finale of this post is two new items I treated myself to before I went away on holiday. Two items that I’d been eying up for some time and seriously debating whether or not to purchase. Number one is this Motel denim dress, I’ve been debating whether or not to buy this dress (in this acid wash or dark denim wash) for absolutely ages. I had a 25% discount at one point to use online, but opted out of it as the dress looked SO short on the models and I didn’t want to order it and never be able to wear it. However after popping into Topshop to exchange my birthday leather jacket for a smaller size, I found this (sold out online) acid wash dress in my size so decided to try it on. I absolutely fell in love, and it wasn’t too short on me thankfully, in fact I’d say the XS was the perfect fit and length. I loved it so much I paid the full £42 (doh, missing out on the discount).
The second purchase was these tan wooden heeled sandals which I’m deeply in love with also. I trekked across the entire of greater London trying to get these in a size 4, it took blood, sweat and tears but I finally found (what appears to be the last size 4) in the Strand store and immediately snapped them up. I wore both items together in my first night in Nice for a cocktail party and they looked amazing. Well worth the investment.
There you go, a whole big post of tons of new goodies of mine :) Hope you enjoyed this post, it’s a little different to my usual outfits but I’ve had so much to share recently I thought a few little ‘haul’ style posts might go down well.
If you checked out my Salsa outfit post (here), you’ll know that my outfit has been entered into a competition where if I get the most amount of likes, I will win a trip to Dubai. MEGA EXCITING. So if you have a spare minute, i’d absolutely LOVE you to give my look a like to help me have a chance of winning this amazing prize. You can vote HERE.
Let me know what you think of this post and whether you give me a vote – i’d love you forever :)
