The Perfect Companion

Todays post is a cosy bundle of my winter favourites. You know the items, the ones you buy and then never change out of. The ones your boyfriend / mum / sister steal off you to actually give it a wash. Yeah those. But every year, season, week (ahem?) I find new items that I just can’t stop wearing …

Often these items are ones I become obsessed about and hunt down until I finally buy them (currently having this over a pair of leopard boots I’ve wanted since September – god knows whats come over me to resist this long). Anyway, I’m persistent and inpatient, so either way I usually hunt them down … but then precede to get my pennies worth. This Warehouse jumper was a sales bargain which I scouted the country high and low for, in the end I found it in 1 size too big, but bugger it. I had to have it. My fur stole is another item I saw once, and then just had to have … and have worn it EVERY day since. These earings I wear every single day, well worth almighty £1 from Primark :) I’m seemingly a creature of habit.

My final item of obsession, and now I mean a real obsession are my Zalando chelsea boots. Ever since getting these I have worn them non stop every day, with every outfit possible. The thing is, they do go with everything (and they’re mega comfortable). Skinny jeans, day dresses, winter shorts, big jumpers … christ they’d probably look cool styled with a bin bag. When I first got these boots I’d actually not heard of Zalando before, but since finding these leather booties, I’ve really not looked back. Zalando have an amazing collection of fashion brands in stock (they even had the Warehouse horse jumper), and the stuff they stock is really on trend and good quality. These boots were so worth the investment … and the best thing is I’ve not seen 100 girls in them (the downside to more mainstream high street stores).  I’d fully recommend checking the site out if you haven’t before … although I apologise in advance and take no responsibility for any naughty spending sprees :)
