I’m certainly enjoying getting one last burst of use out of my new summer purchases. Theres a few statement items that I bought this summer which aren’t the easiest to seed into everyday wear, so this holiday they were my staple ingredients in my holiday suitcase, after all if there’s any time to dress up it’s on holiday!

One such item, of course alongside my Reiss short suit which i’ve already featured in some way shape or form a few times on my blog this week, is my Zara floral short suit. This is an item, or should I say two piece, which my sister and I both loved. The colours, the cut, the matching garments, they won us over. Conveniently they bought them out in two colours, so there was no sibling squabbling, we simply each ordered our own colour. Mine which was actually the set i’d first seen and originally wanted was the pink, purple and white short suit combo. Heavy duty material, but structured tailoring to boot. My sister chose a beautiful blue green combination, slightly less heavy wearing material but again a fab tailoring to match this set.

I’ve worn this a couple of times, in fact you may even remember me wearing it on my blog when I first purchased it, but it was definitely an item I was keen to bring away with me and get some extra wear out of on this holiday. It’s the perfect blend of chic style, bold and beautiful colours and modest design & tailoring. I teamed it with Mr Lim (of course) and my Zara patent pumps which are the perfect match colour wise.
