A little while ago I got my first ever pair of knee high leather boots. Given Autumn is well and truly here, I’ve been living in these boots ever since they landed in my hands, as not only do they look classy & chic, they’re so warm too. I’ve been styling them in quite a classic way, usually with black jodhpurs & a simple blouse / blazer. This outfit is what I wore to work last week, but also out for dinner for my friends birthday too.
The outfit is really casual if you remove the shoes and blazer, but these little additions make it perfect for work and even for a smart evening out look. I don’t usually tend to wear all black, but for this look I actually think the shades make the outfit quite classy. My boots are from Daniel Footwear and I am seriously in love, they’re very ‘riding’ esque, and I’m so glad I’ve ventured into this style of shoe.
This weekend I lost my mind and spent £60 on an All Saints black silk jersey top / dress … bonkers if you ask me, but I actually loved it’s simplicity & chic-ness. I think it would look amazing styled with these boots and my AA disco pants – so i’ll be giving this look a go soon too.

On a completely separate note, i’m a little distracted today, you may be able to tell by my disjointed writing. I’ve always wanted a cream beetle (with black soft top) and despite loving my little Peugeot 206, with the amount of driving I do, I have been contemplating a new car for a little while now. Cue, an amazing deal on a cream beetle dropping into my inbox this morning. I’m so excited, but nervous at the same time that i’ve literally felt sick all morning. haha. I’ll keep you posted on the developments, but i’m a bit excited about this.
NB: this is seriously not good for my poor bank account. NY, Oslo, Braces and now a potential car. Bye Bye house savings ?!?

I love your boots! So chic and timeless. A great investment piece, I would say. If I had the funds, I would snap them up as they are, in my opinion, the perfect boot. I love the way you’ve style it here, I’d probably opt for the same sort of vibe, smart but casual.
