Tonight I’m heading to the Motel Rocks Christmas event. I’m really looking forward to the party and excited to meet so many of my fave bloggers too. I’m meeting Charlene (Strutt) and Lucy (Lulutrixabelle) before hand and then heading over. I’ve seen glimpses of the goody bags and they look immense and apparently THE real life Lee Stafford is going to be there too. Woop.
This is the outfit I am wearing today … I got this dress from AX Paris last week and it’s something I’ve been lusting after for bloody ages. It was completely sold out in a size 8 for weeks (sob), but thankfully as fete would have it, it came back in stock last week and I was quick to snap it up. I absolutely love the studded peplum details and the fact the dress is so simple and chic. The long sleeves and sleek black design make it really comfortable to wear, and not over exposed or on show at all.
My shoes are also AX Paris and another item of lust which I finally got my little mitts on last week. Although sadly I have had to give in and buy these in a size too big. I take a size 4 in shoes, and searched absolutely high and low across every online brand imaginable, ebay, amazon, gum tree, everywhere for these shoes (or a similar design) in a size 4 and I actually couldn’t believe that EVERY store was sold out of a size 4 (they must all come from the same wholesaler). Problem is I wanted them so bad I just decided to buy them too big, haha. Deary me. That means I am wearing UBER thick socks above my tights to try and fatten my feet out a bit :)
So there you go, my look for tonight. I’m also obviously having to wear this to work too, and feeling slightly over glamorous for a Monday, but hey ho. I’ve gone for curly locks as usual as it just makes me feel a little more ‘going out-ish’. I’m really excited for the event tonight and will make sure I take lots of instagram pictures to share with you all. If you don’t already follow me, it’s – mediamarmalade
