Military City Walk


I featured this dress on my blog on Tuesday but thought I’d share an upgraded look with you all today – I layer pretty much everything I wear and always find it’s the layering and individual touches that make an outfit. Whilst the dress itself is gorgeous, the jacket and hat combined just finished the look for me, and reflects what I wore on the day – after all it was freezing.

I’ve been wearing my Zara jacket loads lately as it just seems to suit everything  I won, plus just adds a really nice twist to my outfits. I’ve not seen anyone else with this jacket either, so I quite like the fact it’s not mass fashion. As for my hat, I’ve said it before, and i’ll say it again, it’s true love. I’m so glad I bought it NYC, it was one of those items you debate and think ‘will I actually wear this’ … but given holiday money is basically like monopoly money I thought why the hell not. Best decision ever.

I have a really exciting weekend lined up so I can’t work for it to start. One of my best friends is coming over from Norway for the weekend, so all my uni girls are getting together for a weekend of food, wine and dancing. We’re having a tacos and margarita night tonight, followed by Bubble Dogs & a night out in Brixton tomorrow and a lazy Sunday lunch somewhere – to be decided based on how hungover we’re feeling and how far we can crawl to get it.

    I like to see different outfits with the same items, it shows that you actually own the item and reuse them, as opposed to some bloggers who return their stuff after taking pictures. I’m glad to see the Zara jacket and the hat styled it different ways :)
