. FRENCH CONNECTION .
This post is a little late coming (sorry about that) but before I went away on holiday I attended a fab event with French Connection and Panasonic. It was an exclusive event hosted at the Oxford Street store, and If I am honest it was so much better than I even expected :)
So on arrival I walked in to a huge crowd of papz (who clearly ignored me haha) … this was in itself quite exciting and because the venue was quite small I was instantly nosing round trying to find a) a face I recognised, b) celebs (of course). I didn’t have to look very far as I realised I was stood next to Laura Whitmore & Zoe Hardman, I’d actually met Laura at a party hosted by Richard Branson, and so went over and had a quick chat with her. I absolutely love her style at the moment and as with the first time I met her, she was absolutely lovely and really happy to stop and have a quick conversation. She looked stunning and was rocking a gorgeous short suit.
I also stumbled across Tanya Burr who I had a brief chat with, I was super chuffed when she’d said she’d heard of my blog too (score). I finally managed to truffle hunt down some champagne and ditch my coat, and finally relaxed into the party atmosphere. This is when the entire Made In Chelsea cast arrived. I got a quick picture with Louise and Rosie (above) and then spent a good 10 – 15 mins chatting with Proudlock, who is as awesome as he seem on TV. Totally down to earth, very normal and actually a bit of a laugh (definitely into his style too). I didn’t speak to, but was stood by Andy, Cheska, Gabriel et al for most the night . As the night went on I also got to say a quick hello and grab a picture of Pixie Lott who came to the event with her boyfriend George. She is absolutely gorgeous and so petite in real life, she had the most awesome tartan pencil trousers on too which I loved.
But the best pic and person of the night had to be George Lamb, swoon. He was resident DJ for a event and was playing out some good beats the whole way through. I went over for a quick chat, and he was actually the most normal person ever. Massively down to earth, no pretense and was more than happy to have a cheeky photo (where he went on to lick my face – hence the laughing photo at the top). I also met some lovely bloggers on the evening aside from Tanya, the lovely Lauren from Laurenella and Tamara from Glam & Glitter 4 Eva.
Overall a really fab night, and I am so glad I made the event. Hope you like my piccies & my outfit (the pics aren’t v good of my outfit, but luckily I took some pics in the morning before work so will do a proper outfit post on this soon).
