. SHOPPING HAUL .
I did a little bit of shopping this week, unplanned but surprisingly successful. I picked up 3 items which I absolutely love, all the items I saw and knew instantly I just had to have. The nice thing about my new purchases is that they actually make a pretty cool outfit, so I’ve managed to get wear out of them all already … in one look.
. Office Burgundy Leather Boots £85.I have a ton of ankle boots already but have been searching for a pair of heeled buckled boots for some time (especially after seeing so many cool rock chic outfits with them featured). I have a pair already from Topshop that are tan leather and flat which I love, but i’ve been thinking how nice it would be to have a heeled pair too … particularly so I can wear them with summer dresses or casual floaty tops and jeans to create quite a laid back chic look.

Zara Spaghetti Strap Blouse £22.99 .I saw this top in Zara at the weekend and instantly fell in love, it’s so simple and chic and I think it’ll look absolutely perfect styled with skinny jeans and my new ankle boots. I love simple nude silk tops like this for a smart but chic work look, they really smarten up a pair of jeans and i love the simple design. Very parisian.
. Zara Duck Egg Blue Blazer £49.99 .My Final purchase was this fabulous duck egg blue blazer. I actually already have this blazer in a coral colour which I bought about 2 years ago, I wear it absolutely all the time and when I saw Zara had brought out the range again in new colours I knew I had to snap up another colour. The material is a really nice, quality cotton mkaing the blazer great for a smart / casual look, it’s not as formal and structured as some blazers which I really like. I wear my coral one all the time and so I know i’m going to get tons out of this one too, the colour is gorgeous.
So there you go, my naughty impromptu shopping trip and my 3 new purchases. I’m really glad I bought all 3 and will be sharing outfit pictures soon with each of the items featured – i’m going to be getting lots of wear out of these :) I’ve been a bit naughty with the old shopping recently, what with these three items and my new coat and 2nd Day tshirt. I think I may have to inflict a little ban on myself, particularly as I may be moving out soon. EEK.What do you think of my new purchases? Are you a fan of buckled ankle boots?
