. DEMALOGICA MICROFOLIANT .
Todays post is another Beauty number, not my typical topic, but this post has been a long time coming really and it’s about a product I truly love and so wanted to share with you all as because the brand and range has formed my daily routine and really kick started my skincare. My dad actually introduced me to Dermilogica, and since being bought a few a products for Birthdays and Christmas’s over the years it’s really transformed my skin and become my reliant in keeping my skin clear and blemish free.
The Microfliant is a face wash which my dad bought me at Christmas, I started using it instantly as I was suffering from stress and hormonal spots and it was beginning to really get me down. I tried loads of the fad products i’d seen reviews for online but really nothing was working for me. After I started using this product, I have to say my skin seriously improved. Even the scaring from previous blemishes was improving.
I use this product daily and love how easy and quick it is to use. It’s actually a powder, so you pour a little on your hands, rub together and then massage into your face. There’s no crazy lathering or getting soaked trying to wash your face in the sink, and actually because of the texture it feels like it does a bit of an exfoliation job too.
I’m now on my second pot of this, as it lasts for absolutely ages. I buy my Dermilogica from Pure Beauty (as recommended by my dad) as they specialise in Dermilogica, offer discounted prices AND allow you to have 5 samples of your choice with every purchase you make. This I think is a really clever and helpful offering, and as a result of the samples I picked on my last purchase I’ve also gone on to add ‘Ultra Calming Syrum’ to my daily routine. I use this at bed time to help clear breakouts – and again, I think it’s truly amazing (i’ll do another post on that some other time).
Dermilogica isn’t cheap, but I am happy to pay for these skincare products as they really work for me and I feel like they help my skin significantly. This microfoliant (75g) is around £36 on Pure Beauty (I think around £40 in store), but for me that’s so worth it. My dad actually told me Dermilogica used to be prescription based skincare products, and so it’s no wonder they’re so effective.
I would really recommend this product for anyone looking for an effective face wash, particularly for breakout prone skin or anyone suffering from facial skincare issues – it seems to sort the whole lot. If you do suffer from breakouts, i’d team the microfoliant with one of their spot treatments (like I do), as the duo together is like a ninja mutant spot beating army.
Have you used Dermilogica products? Are you a fan of the micrfoliant or any of the other skincare products from the Dermilogica range?

Sounds amazing!
My skin is so annoying right now! I accidently exfoliated when i had a spot & burst/popped it but the day after it came back to life almost by magic -_____-

This sounds so interesting, especially the fact that its a powder. I’ve never tried anything from Dermologica before but maybe I’ll have to start now!
