RIP ME UP

August 8, 2013

. STYLE DOWN .

It’s nearly the weekend and I’m already filling my diary with plans en Londres. Jase and I are actually booked to stay in the Millenium Hotel in Kensington on saturday night which i’m really looking forward to. To make a day of it, I’ve also booked us in for dinner at The Bluebird in Chelsea which looks lovely. I’m temped to visit the Captial Carboot sale on the Sunday and a nice BBQ is planned with my dad on the Sunday night. I love being able to spend my weekends in London now, living together has given us an opportunity to relax a little.
Despite wearing a lot of my normal clothes to work and vice versa (basically I don’t have a work specific wardrobe) I do often down grade my weekend outfits that little bit further and really chill out when I can. This is an outfit I wore a couple of weekends ago whilst Jase and I were in Bristol visiting his family. I like a laid back, no effort outfit every now and then.
. Old Shorts . Topshop Top & Leather Jacket . Office Boots . Mulberry Bag .

These shorts are a really old pair from a few years back that I still wear now, they’re really worn now which i like and look a bit rustic / vintage. As we were just pottering around town I threw on my plain grey marl tee from Tosphop and my Office ankle boots which I hadn’t worn too much recently due to the amazing sunshine. To finish my outfit I added my leather jacket and my Mulberry satchel. This is a very typical ‘pottering around’ look for me and also the kind of outfit I wear at festivals (albeit i’d probably throw some flowers in my hair and add some neon accessories too).

What do you throw on at the weekends? Do you have a ‘go to’ laid back look you always opt for?

What a fabulous, laid back yet still stylish outfit miss! Like you I don’t really have a work specific or down time wardrobe so I definitely enjoy keeping things cas at the weekend.

      I absolutely love your style.
I love your jacket and I’ve been on the hunt for a good dark leather jacket. When I find the right one, I’ll have to invest in it.
