. AS FEATURED IN STYLIST .
Blogging is hard work, it takes a lot of time, effort and dedication, i’m not sure how I’ve managed to keep motivated (or find the time) to blog every day (since October 30th 2011) alongside working a full time job, but I have. There are times when I feel down about my blog & am hard on myself, and others when I feel proud of what I’ve created & achieved … but there’s nothing like some affirmation that you’re hard work is worth it. Comments, followers, page views, likes from lovely readers and brand collaborations all help to keep me upbeat and spurred on to blog. Having your favourite magazines or brands want to work with you has to be the best feeling and motivator out there. When I recently was asked to work with Boden & Stylist.co.uk on a special advertorial feature I was absolutely over the moon, and needless to say it spurred me on to give myself and my blog a little appreciation.
Whilst my favourite item from the Boden collection has to be the straight cut Ingrid pink coat (which is unfortunately sold out) I decided to style up this amazing, vibrant orange / red duffle coat. There’s no denying that the weather has dropped of late and so there’s no better time to stock up on cosy coats and invest in something that not only keeps you warm and comfortable but that also looks fabulous and vibrant.
I styled the coat with my favourite jacquard ASOS shift dress and office burgundy ankle boots for a stroll along the river and a wonder around Richmond this weekend. The Boden moleskin coat was the perfect finish to the look. It has to be one of the comfiest coats i’ve ever worn, fur lined and seriously good quality. From the moment I put it on I felt like I was cuddled up at home on my sofa, fire on, hot water bottle on lap & cuppa tea in hand.
Stay tuned for the Stylist.co.uk feature … i’ll add links as soon as it’s live in November.
What do you think of my new Boden duffle coat? Are you a fan of Boden & their new AW range?
