The Summer truly seems to have deserted us here in the UK, i’m hoping we may get another burst of heat later in the month, but in the meantime i’m taking the opportunity to test out my new Autumn purchases. Silver Linings n’ that. It turns out that my rather untimely shopping spree of new autumn items was actually rather useful.

I featured this French Connection sleeveless coat in yesterdays post too, and whilst i’ve been teaming it with flirty bohemian outfits at the weekend, during the working week i’m giving it a slightly more dressy style teamed with billowy shirts & patent pumps. One of my favourite combinations of late was this look here, my Whistles ripped knee skinny jeans, my Zara patent pumps & my Topshop white oversized shirt. The French Connection blazer come coat is the perfect finishing touch & gives the look an almost parisian feel. No complaints there, channeling my inner francais is always high on the agenda.
