ANY OLD IRONS

Well I didn’t last long, i’m already craving my favourite knitwear, my cashmere socks & UGG slippers. I might have got used to the comfy clothing a little too much over the festive period! But fear not, I’ve found another nifty way of wearing my favourite knitwear for a slightly smarter, chicer & more ‘work’ appropriate style.

I styled up this look at the weekend before I returned to London, I was after something super cosy and comfortable to do a spot of shopping in, yet something that was slightly more appropriate to wear outdoors than my pijamas and slippers (mind you, that’s never stopped me before)! I teamed my Rag & Bone Valene knit jumper (my christmas present from my dad – with the Christmas clue ‘Any Old Irons’ …. yeah took me a while too) with my new Zara fur A Line skirt (you may have already spotted this on my Instagram from yesterdays #OOTD here & my Aldo Aleweil boots (i’m so glad I bought these, i’ve got so much wear out of them).  The outfit was spot on, warm, cosy & comfy to wear! I’ll be sporting this in the days to come, when heels & enthusiastic ‘first week back at work’ office looks tire me!
