If you regularly read mediamarmalade.com or follow me on instagram, pinterest, twitter or Facebook channels (if not, go on, do it) then you’ll probably recall a certain little Reiss number which I spent the majority of the last 6 months talking about, wishing for & debating purchasing. Well fortunately for me the Reiss sale hit just before Christmas, and my beloved Orchid jacket got knocked down a little in price. That was encouragement enough for me, so I decided to treat myself to this chic little number, It’s only right to treat myself given the promo etc (right?)!

The jacket itself caught my eye as soon as I saw it in store (I think around September time), the amount of times I popped in store to try it on was actually quite ridiculous (i’m okay to admit)! But it was worth the wait, all good things are, and now i’m the proud owner. It’s actually slightly different to my usual style (oversized, fur and shearling seem to be dominating my coat wardrobe right now), but it;s such a classic cut, design & style that I desperately wanted it added to my wardrobe!
I wore the jacket at the weekend for a little coffee trip into Winchester with my sister. It looked perfect styled with my Zara grey dress which I featured here on Monday, my KG pumps & of course lady Celine too! The ice blue colour compliments the charcoal and black tones of the rest of the look & is a colour which I think can be carried through season on season (more justification for my splurge right?)!

I’m loving the get-up! I’ve never considered shopping at Reiss before – I thought it was too ‘grown up’ for me – but your pictures have made me click over to the site and I must say I like what I see! Thank you for sharing x
