NOTTINGHILL STYLE

February 16, 2015

white shirt and jeans

. NOTTINGHILL WEEKEND STYLE .

This Sunday Jase and I spent the day lounging around Nottinghill, the weekend itself was actually really relaxed in the end, I got treated to a special Valentines dinner out on Saturday, and Sunday I repaid the treat by taking Jase to Electric House where we devoured the perfect brunch (avocado toast, poached eggs & almighty bloody mary’s) and whiled away a good few hours on the cosy armchairs! Naturally I took the opportunity to snap a few outfit pics before our brunch, Nottinghill for me, is the ultimate in back drop locations. Stunning grand town houses, white as white walls & poker black railings, it’s perfection.

. ZARA FLARED MARL POPLIN SHIRT . JAMES JEANS IN SLATE . CELINE NANO . ASOS NUDE PUMPS .

My outfit for the day was understated (it was Sunday after all), I sported my new Zara Marl Poplin shirt which I ordered a week or so ago from the new SS15 collection. It’s the perfect billowy, effortless white shirt, great for weekend wear opposed to a smarter work look (albeit ticks my work style boxes too). My James Jeans are always my go to denim for a lazy weekend, they’re super soft and comfy! The finishing touches were of course Lady Celine, and seeing as it was Valentines weekend a little pastel pink in the form of my ASOS suede pumps (which I must admit were swiftly swapped for trainers, ahem)!

How was your valentines weekend, did you get spoilt by your loved ones?

Ah I do love a good monotone outfit, and that Celine Nano is to die for! Just curious, how do you carry your DSLR when you have a small purse? Do you have a separate camera bag for it or do you just sling it over your shoulders? I love small handbags but I’m at my wits end about how to carry my 600D! x
