VALENTINES ATTIRE

MEDIAMARMALADE PLAYSUIT

. VALENTINES DAY STYLE .

Okay so I know Valentines has been and gone, we’re now onto bigger and better things with pancake day (in my top 3 for favourite days of the year, yes I take it very seriously), but I wanted to share with you my outfit from the day itself (I say day, largely evening, as I spent most the actual day time nursing a hangover in bed – romantic). Anyway, back to the point, my Valentines day outfit. Jase surprised me with a lovely dinner at a fab restaurant in Chiswick which we’re forever talking about going to ‘one day’, and Valentines day turned out to be the day. I wanted to look nice for the occasion (obviously) but definitely not too dressed up, afterall the spot we were hitting was a very cool, chic bistro come gin bar and so understated was top of the agenda.

. ZARA JACQUARD PLAYSUIT . WHISTLES PONY LOAFERS . ZARA CREAM FUR COAT .

. SHOP MY VALENTINES STYLE FAVES .

The night provided the perfect opportunity for me to wear my Zara jacquard playsuit which is something I wanted for ages and that I got bought for Christmas. I actually also wore the playsuit New Years Eve (you can check that look here) and so it’s fast becoming my ‘go to’ party style. What I love about the playsuit is it’s extremely structured and tailored cut, it’s also a skort which is rather exciting & just fits so comfortably. The navy blue colour is something a little different to your typical LBD & the jacquard texture could win over any sartorial obsessive. I kept the styling low key, and popped on my Whistles loafers (which i’ve finally managed to wear in) and my Zara cream fur coat. This coat is something I bought late last summer and was immediately obsessed with, but something that so far this year i’ve not given enough love. That swiftly changed once I popped it on and remembered how much I loved it. This seems to happen a lot to me.

And there you have it, my valentines attire, finished of course with a punchy red lip (courtesy of my Nars pencils).

What did you get up to this Valentines weekend, did you get dressed up for the occasion?
