This week I was fortunate enough to have a couple of days off work for some much needed recuperation, and where better to have a little relaxation than the west country, and more specifically Babington House. I’ve been a member for Shoreditch House for quite a while now, but I’d never ventured to any of the houses outside London, and boy had I been missing out. Babington is the perfect little city escape, a sanctuary and just the ideal place to take some time out to relax and unwind. I left wanting to move in there forever.
Today I thought i’d share a little photo diary from my stay, to give you a little taste of the sanctuary for yourself.
We booked the Coach House which was the most fantastic little studio room, with a open lounge and bathroom downstairs and a huge, comfy and luxe bed on the mezzanine upstairs. We enjoyed 90 minute treatments in the cowshed spa which was absolute heaven, and more food than my stomach could handle. All in all it was the perfect two days and the perfect spot to truly unwind, whether that was in the gorgeous pool or pool side lounge, our own little lounge or simply in the relaxed and chilled bar area. I took Jase there for his birthday as a treat, but I have to say it was a massive treat for me too!
We’re already working out when we can go back …
Wow, what a lovely place to be. Everything looks so cozy and beautiful. I would love to spend a Weekend there. This is a bit random: but I love the fact, that they displayed those scones (?) on a tree slice (is this the right word?). Beautiful Pictures.
Oh wow, this looks like such a relaxing place to visit! I visited Cowshed Spa just off Carnaby St and the treatment was so lovely. A weekend somewhere like Babington House sounds like the absolute dream x
The spa looks heavenly and what an amazing Cotswold retreat – can see why people get married and go there to relax!
