NEW AUTUMN BEAUTY INVESTMENTS
Fighting dry skin, tired eyes & pale skin head on
When it comes to beauty and skincare, i’m quite the creature of habit. I know what I like and I use it over and over again. That being said, i’m also a frivolous shopper, so when I see something I like the sound of i’m always open to giving it a go. This last couple of months i’ve added a few extra pieces to my beauty collection that i’ve really been loving and thought i’d share with you today. They’re all ‘new’ products for me and ones i’ve not tried before, so i’d love to hear your experience if you’ve tried them too?

DR HAUSCHKA ROSE DAY CREAM
BUY HERE
–
I love to treat myself to a few Dr Hauschka products every now and then, I love the smell of the creams and often thats enough to draw me in. After using their Melissa Day cream during the summer (which I bought quite literally because it’s my name – i told you i was frivolous), I wanted a new moisturiser which was less oily for my skin. Unfortunately the Melissa moisturiser wasn’t quite the match made in heaven for real life Melissa, i found my face super shiny and my makeup falling off when I used it, so i wanted something lighter and less oily. The Rose day cream despite still being a rich moisturiser, is a light version & smells beautiful. So far i’ve been really enjoying using it and it’s much more suited to my combination skin.

DR HAUSCHKA BRONZING TINT
BUY HERE
–
Once you start you just can’t stop right? Seeing as i was picking up a new moisturiser and my skin is feeling the affects of winter already, I was really tempted to try the Dr Hauschka bronzing tint and I have to say it was a great buy. The bronzing solution is exceptionally light and a very natural colour when mixed with my moisturiser. I barely feel it on my skin, yet it gives my colour a real lift and brings a little more glow to my colour tone. I really like this and it’s very seamlessly slotted into my usual makeup routine as I just mix it with my Rose moisturiser post applying a little toner (another Dr Haushcka product i love & featured here).

THE WORKS STRESS CHECK ROLLER
BUY HERE
–
My god I just love stress balms, room sprays and body oils. The smell is just one of my absolute favourites and i’ve found myself buying as many different formats as possible – from my Aromatherapy Associates candles & bath oils, Cowshed room spray, to my most recent This Works stress check roller. Something I can carry around and smother myself in on the go, hooray! Post my yoga instructor using a fab Neom oil, i’ve been hunting down something similar for myself, and I fell in love with the smell, and strength of smell of this roller! Whether your stressed or not, the smell is just so therapeutic, i highly recommend it.

ESTEE LAUDER NIGHT REPAIR SERUM
BUY NOW
–
Last but not least on the skincare front is a little night oil i’ve had in my cupboard for a matter of years, but for some reason never actually tried. Despite the acclaim the Estee Lauder advanced repair products have.
Anyway, the seasons are changing, my skin is after a little love and wrinkle defence and i’m quite enjoying the motion of my bedtime routine right now, so I decided it was about time i got my advanced skincare products out and put them to the test. I’ve been using my kiehls midnight recovery oil or my Estee Lauder advanced night repair oil as a base post face wash & tone, and then applying the eye serum (probably too generously) around my eyes. Whilst i’m not yet looking 10 years younger, my skin feels healthier and more fresh & I really enjoy the routine each evening too.

JO MALONE SILK BLOSSOM PERFUME
SIMILAR HERE
–
And to complete the set, Jo Malone’s beautiful Silk Blossom perfume which I was lucky enough to get introduced to in their beautiful London Townhouse (talk about decor goals) earlier in the summer. The scent was one of three limited travel editions, and this silk blossom one has actually become my everyday perfume for the last few months. I love the sweet tones and the subtle warmth of the smell, and the packaging as always is beautiful too. Unfortunately as this little beauty is limited edition, i’m struggling to find a place for you guys to buy it, but if you’re travelling soon be sure to visit the Jo Malone stand as it’s a travel edition so they may still have some.
